I find it interesting how they manage to make such realistic ones. Uh, I'm not talking about the blow up balloon dolls.

My thoughts on each piece:
First, I totally love them all! But I would like to know how people would react. My friend who will create the suit for me says I should wear what I would like and feel most comfortable in. Well, I want them all, that's for sure.
1 and 4 - are my best picks but is it too cutsey cutesy for the contest?
2 - Simple and elegant, easy to wear. I especially like the shoelace frontal. But for Valentines, I think the devil is out. Or is it?
3 - A masterpiece, but could be too "revealing". It is a beauty contest not a Miss Playboy Girlfriend.
5 - Another devil girl, but it's simply adorable and chick. And not too naughty.
6 - Fairy princess, I always wanted to be a ballerina. Good thing there is no talent portion. Or else, I won't dance a ballet.
7 - Cotton Cupid. I love the lace and cotton ensemble. The bag and white stockings are adorable too!
8 - Another cute cupid. I like the short skirt. But the whole thing could be too simple. Adding stockings won't match.

...it simply almost brought me to tears! I now cross my fingers in the hopes that we all made the right decision.
And this post is also to celebrate today in History, February 8, 1865, as Martin Robinson Delany was commissioned as the first black Major in the U.S. Army.

Oscar's Academy Awards is just around the corner. 16 days to be exact. And since I am one of those people who just watch the telly to witness the event, I thought ordinary bloggers can have their extra-ordinary awards too!

Jerry's blog caught my attention a few days back while surfing over at the defunct BlogExplosion. It's not only inspiring, it is also helpful esp with the info that I have read so far...
The inescapable facts concerning weight loss:
1. A pound of fat contains 3500 calories. If you want to lose a pound of fat, you must burn 3500 more calories than you consume.
2. You must consume enough calories each day to keep your body from thinking it may starve. If you don't get enough calories your metabolism will slow down thereby burning less calories and you'll just feel tired and hungry.
3. Walking is a wonderful way of burning calories, it will burn extra calories and build muscles in your legs. Try to work up to at least 2 miles a day. If you walk 2 miles in 34 minutes (3.5 mph), you'll burn approximately your weight in extra calories.
